About the Sand Lake Road Station
The Sand Lake Road Station serves as a hub for seamless LYNX bus to SunRail transfers, allowing easy access to the Florida Mall, local attractions, and Orlando International Airport (OIA) with the Train to Plane LYNX bus service.
Its strategic location also anticipates future rail links to OIA in the east and the Orange County Convention Center and International Drive tourism district in the west.

In 2024, SunRail completed a technology upgrade to improve the fare system. With this update, yellow SunCards no longer work and MUST be transferred or closed.
