How to Transfer

SunRail works with Votran to provide a cost-effective option for our passengers. Bus-to-rail and rail-to-bus customers can transfer from one mode of transportation to the other.

Votran to SunRail Transfers

  1. Pay bus fare on Votran feeder bus route.
  2. Take the Votran bus ticket to a SunRail Ticket vending machine (TVM).
  3. Follow instructions on the TVM screen.
  4. Swipe Votran bus ticket (valid for 90 minutes for a single transaction). Once it’s swiped, the Votran ticket will no longer be valid.
  5. Pay $1.00 upgrade for crossing each county line on SunRail.

SunRail to Votran Transfers

  1. Pay your train fare.
  2. Show the Votran bus operator your SunCard or one-way/round-trip ticket (mobile or paper).
  3. Receive one free transfer onto a feeder bus that serves SunRail’s DeBary station.

VoRide, Votran’s
On Demand Transit

Votran brings reliable, affordable service to ALL of Volusia County through its on demand transit service, VoRide. VoRide is available at both the DeLand and DeBary stations. Riders can schedule their DeLand/Amtrak Station trips up to 24 hours in advance.

Accessibility

Votran service vehicles are also equipped with onboard wheelchair lifts that are deployed by the bus operator. Each SunRail station provides a clearly marked bus boarding area along an angled curb, allowing for independent bus departures and arrivals.
